Films are breaking box office records left and right and the 'blockbuster' is becoming good again (Cap Am 2 being the perfect example).
More people are binge watching TV shows and the critically the content is at an all-time high.
Broadway is breaking box office records and Hedwig is one of the best broadway shows in years.
Video games are also breaking sales records and are becoming increasingly deep.
I'd say the only other mediums that are suffering a bit right now are literature and visual arts.
Just an interesting observation.

Network TV ratings have absolutely hemorrhaged in the past 15 years.
I'd say the way most people consume TV nowadays is pretty comparable to how they consume music, except radio arguably affords popular songs a greater reach than any given TV show.
