But if it's so simple and easy why do the other girls pay people millions of dollars to do it for them  When they can just do it themselves since it's soooo easy and not that hard

Writing and coming up with your own 20 word song > Not even being talented enough to do that and having to pay shitloads of money to have other people write a 20 word song for you

If every girl wrote their own material, pop music would be even more cringeworthy, and songwriters would be out of business and without work. Ofcourse anyone can write, and learn to compose but what good is it if the end product is bad? Taylor can get away with it because it's country music which is about simplicity and not much about catchiness like pop music.
Pop music has always been built around being repetitive and the whole hit factory notion of how pop girls come up with their biggest songs. Madonna has done it, Britney has done it, Beyoncé didn't really start writing on her own until Destiny's Child's 3rd album. I could go on and on.
Taylor wining an Nashville Writing award is pretty irrelevant when nobody on Atrl really knows what that is to begin with.

Fame Rihanna is listed First on Pour It Up meaning she wrote most of it, and it went platinum, and top 20 on billboard, will that change your opinion on her song writing ? No because songwriting is overrated in the first place.
