She is, Fearless and Speak Now are gold there, Red is platinum, Mean and YBWM are gold, WANEGBT is 3x platinum and was the most successful single by a Western artist in Japan in 2013 and the 4th most successful overall. It was also the song that blocked Applause, released on August 13, 2013 form #1 despite being released on August 14, 2012.

Her 20k date (which was today) sold out there too the day the tickets went on sale. Red ha salso outsold Gaga and Avril's latest albums there and most of the local Japanese female artists' latest albums. SO yeah she is the biggest pop girl there atm.
