I don't think Resident Evil is a very fair comparison in the world of video game movies.

It hardly has anything to do with the games.

Mortal Kombat did a great a job in both of it's movies, staying as true as possible to the storyline.

Annihilation was kinda bad but still for videogames made to movie standards it stands strong as one of the best. Resident Evil sucked minus 2,Street fighter was horrible especially the legend of chun li and Mario made no sense at all.

It's true. I can only think of a few video game movies that are even watchable, let alone good.

I play each game religiously EXCEPT MKvsDC. It was a stupid concept of taking an "M" rated series & watering it down. "Heroic Brutality"? What the actual ****?

For a game 22 years old, MK1 holds up pretty well! That game is LEGEN...wait-for-it...DARY! But MK2 was a PERFECT sequel. MK9 can arguably be the best game in the series... it has the most included, a great story, great fighting mechanics. Just one bad-ass game!

The second one is also my favorite even though it is completely trashed by critics and a lot of fan boys.

Jade isn't black though she is like an Amazon or something like a asian/indian.

Omg, are they revealing artists for the soundtrack to this game? The music for MK is on-point a lot of the time! Some of the best video game soundtrack music out there. I liked Reptile's theme for the last game.

Not the best fight in the movie, but probably the most iconic! And also the reason Kano became Australian. Wish the fight wouldve lasted longer.

I really think actor portrayed each video game character well in this movie.
