You may not be the target, but to downplay or wave off the offensiveness is disgusting. I suppose people will never get it unless the shoe is on the other foot. Just imagine Justin had been speaking about your mother or someone you love and said, "run, dirty, trashy b****, b****, b****, b****, b****." Would it be funny then? Would you take kindly to people saying you shouldn't overreact?

You can f*** off now

I'm not understanding your point here. Do you mean the n-word with 'a' or 'er'? I'd prefer neither, but..
White person calling a white person the n-word is very uneducated considering what the word means (kinda ironic).
White person calling a black person the n-word is and will always be offensive.

I mean there's been so many god damn racist jokes on here that people get away with, ch..
He was also recorded for no reason saying these things, which is a mere coincidence since the video started at he was making 'racist' jokes.

y'all love that "so what, it's not a big deal ****." excuse me, ignorance is a very big deal and if he was saying it so nonchalantly it's pretty obvious it's a word he was accustomed to using.
He goes out of his way to surround himself with people of color, appropriates our style, culture and music yet he wanna make "******" jokes. drag him, tbh.

I understood what you meant, its still stupid. Just because white kids in your college say a racist joke with friends and their friends laugh doesn't make it less offensive. The whole intent of that joke was to be racist for the sake of laughter. I'm not calling Justin a racist because I doubt he is and I've made and heard these jokes as well in my past but its still ignorant.

Either way - The Sun got a hold of this and knew people would go bat **** crazy over it so props to them for making their $$$ with the headline.
I don't want to be wrong in saying this, but was this recorded when he was recording his docu-film, Never Say Never? I mean the hair, age, voice seem to match with that era + there was tons of unused footage from the film.

I can't believe people are excusing this video because "its old" and because "we've heard the joke before". He was probably at least 15 or 16 when this video was recorded, he knew the meaning of the word, and he should have known better. I'm 16 and I would never make a joke like this.
And the fact that the joke is overused, unfunny, and stupid doesn't mean it's not racist.

Chile and some of these same fonts would flip **** if their male celeb they lust after used a gay slur. Or the artist's they stanned for made homophobic jokes chile...
But then again what's wrong with using a gay slur I mean some of us gays use that and other derogatory words towards each other. So that means the entire lgbt community can't be offended . I don't see why people don't get the statements in the bold always sound stupid and are terrible excuses

Why are you trying to change the subject? Don't get reported for being off topic. Let's talk about your ignorant post a few pages back, girl.

I mean with an -a and in the context that some people use when saying hello to a friend like what's up my n****. Like I said no one should use the word whether white or black because replacing -er with -a doesn't change the word, but if its in that context I'm not going to immediately call someone a racist
