I don't really think 10 extra comments stimulates more mess. It's only 10 comments. That's not very many at all. I think it just provides people with more of a safety net for ****-ups. Which, as someone still learning the ropes on what is/isn't allowed, I know I would really appreciate.
Sure, you'd get some members who would use it as an opportunity to get a few more drags, shades and reads in there.
But like I said, 10 extra comments is not very many. Plus it's a smart business move. So many more people would buy it.
