I listened to Red in its entirety in the car today. The first half of the album is definitely stronger than the second; the album starts to weaken with tracks like Stay Stay Stay, The Last Time, The Lucky One, and Starlight. These tracks aren't bad at all, but they certainly pale in comparison to the ones on the front half (State of Grace, Treacherous, WANEGBT). Great album overall, enjoyed it a lot more than I did the first year I owned it.

I semi agree although I love TLT. That's one you kinda have to listen with headphones and really take it in to really get into it, but once you do

Her vocals on Sad Beautiful Tragic are legitimately stunning btw. So soft and intimate. The line "and time is taking its sweet time erasing you" slays me the most.

Remember I downloaded the album and read comments on ATRL. Everyone was like: "have you listened to Starlight?" "omg Starlight is so flawless" "another number one in the making". It was the first song besides the promo singles that I listened to. I found verses too bland yet the chorus slayed me. 100 percent my music.
