And remember that no acts like Selena, Ariana, Hillary, Gwen, Demi, Marina, Shania, who has certainly a good commercial potential but /whose latest efforts didn't smashed worldwide/seeks a long awaited comeback - would EVEN DARE to do this - as it'd be a total suicide.
Bey had success because she's one of the most loved worldwide act, one whose name could resonate throughout the world, and she did something completely new (speaking about Pop music). The artist who wants to replicate this kind of success should be one BIGBIG name. So I would keep my eyes on Madonna, Rihanna, Taylor, Adele, Nicki (even if I have some doubts on her) and Kanye.
A less commercial artist would take me by surprise honestly. But if that happens to be, idk, Björk, I would not be against that
