Sam Smith's singing voice and personality isn't obnoxious like Adam Lambert's singing voice and personality. Pink and Adam are essentially the same type of male solo artist, with equally obnoxious personalities, except the latter is sans success. Furthermore, Sam Smith didn't shamelessly use his sexuality as a promotional device like Frank Ocean. Speaking of which, remember when Frank Ocean was a thing? Poor fad.
