She really didn't give a **** with G.U.Y. All the focus was on An ARTPOP Film. She splashed out on a huge budget masterpiece of a mini movie music video, didn't follow the typical single announcement, radio then promotion / video release and instead announced the single a day before the video, dropped it on a Saturday giving a huge **** you to Hot 100 streaming, gave a radio release the month after then forgot about it a week after the video dropped and concentrated on the $$$ she's ranking in from Roseland and artRave.


Would be interesting to see where G.U.Y. could have peaked with Marry The Night level promotion.I swear that single was promoted and pushed more effectively than the entire ARTPOP campaign.

Speaking of An ARTPOP Film, do you guys think it has a chance at getting nominated at this years VMAs and at the Grammys next year?


I have a feeling they'll just completely snub her because the track flopped and it's Gaga, although it might have a chance in the professional VMA categories like Lana's music videos.

If it's top 20-30 I think it would be fine, especially if Gypsy is played on radio cause that song is really radio friendly without having to tweak it.

Bare in mind if it does that in the US, it probably be top 10 in Canada and perhaps some countries like Spain and Italy.
