The solution to this problem is to have the rest of the world to rely on when you are old (45+). Only Madonna has that. Her US airplay has been suffering in the US since late 2002 but radio around the world plays the hell out of her.

It's true about Madonna, she is evenement, in Poland Girl Gone Wild and Turn Up the Radio was big hits, radio stations played them like... every hour or something
