Ugh, I feel like they won't do the ticket bundling again because of timing.
They totally should though, 'cuz it would boost her sales and it's basically the cheapest, most effective promotion she could possibly have.
I wonder if bundling is even possible if she's going the iTunes-exclusive route. People thought the rumors were about Mariah, but that turned out to be wrong. People were saying it might be Nicki Minaj, but only her current single is up for purchase on iTunes, so it doesn't seem likely. I don't think there's any other major female artist besides Madonna releasing. I'm a bit nervous.
I think if she bundles again, then it might be possible. She'll easily sell more than 100k tour tickets if she announces a bundle package when she releases the new album.
Album sales have been really low. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting Mariah Carey's first week predictions to be less than 100k. I know she didn't have any hit singles besides #Beautiful, but the US has always been her biggest market.
Be gone. It might be shocking for you to digest this, but some people like to remain realistic. Everyone here, including myself and Frozen, have defended Madonna many times in threads created to shade her. Find something better to do with your time than accuse people.
MC was stupid, she should've released the album when #B was "smashing" (for her standards), the album would've easily done over 100k maybe even more. MDNA gave us great start, hopefully she comes up with something for M13 too
And thank you

Why do you think so, Mr.? She can drop the lead and announce the start of the tour afterwards and then bundle the tickets with album, I think that'd work, wouldn't it?
Madonna should do what Cher did: for every tour ticket purchased, Live Nation will supply a free, already-paid-for digital download of the album, which Billboard counts. They can run this promotion for like three weeks, which is the perfect way to keep her in the BB200 top ten consistently.

why?
i'm only nervous that she'd fell off a random horse before the tour starts.
I don't think sales would be that high. If she plans to do an iTunes exclusive, she needs some major promo right before the release. The problem now is that many shows are ending their seasons and won't return until the fall.
How do you feel about Like A Prayer (album), before I come for that to.
That's a little bit stupid though, so I'd probably feel sorry for you.

That did not occur to me. Why would she do the iTunes thing though? Like, she's not going to get all the teens/twenties excited like Beyoncé did - most of her sales were due to the hype and cool factor, neither of which Madonna has much of in our age group.

Amazon $ 3.50 deal is still possible nowadays
But she won't do that, out of vanity.

Yeah, that didn't look great on MDNA.

+ she should do COAD-esque promo!
That's counting on her doing a normal release strategy. And yeah, a bit of promotion wouldn't hurt - Letterman appearance (mostly 'cuz I want to see what she'd say about his retirement 'cuz I stan for him too ) and some other shows. Oh, and payola, lots of that.

But people will snap up tickets quickly, so even if the record stayed Top Ten for three weeks, it'd bomb out of the charts straight after.

but i don't wanna see her on random shows like letterman, gma or kimmel.
she can do a little promo tour with theater gigs.
that'd be cool.
Exactly, her demographic isn't really fond of iTunes, I think it'd not work for her as it did for BEY, I'd rather her to do it the normal way... but who knows what she's gonna do, she's Madonna, she can do whatever she wants

That'd be amazing, I was recently watching the Letterman interview where they went for pizza, it was so cute. She should give more interviews and not just one with my fave Jimmy Fallon, and also perform!!
Who cares about album sales when it goes without saying in the current music climate that albums and singles don't make money any more? Madonna knew all along when she signed the 360 Live Nation deal and I highly doubt she has forgotten. No one cares about how much MDNA has sold (not that bad actually when considering the single's chart performance) when the tour brought in all the money.
I think since American Life her career has been transitioning to a ''heritage act'' phase. She's spent 10 years already chasing The Madonna Sound rather than reinventing it. Considering the state of her career and the current music market this deal is a very clever one.

IKR? It's cute how they've softened with each other over the years. When he defended David's adoption >>>
But I think, if she is going to do late night, it'll probably be with Jimmy Fallon, the seem to get along quite well (appearing when he hosted SNL, the MDNA Facebook interview).
I don't care about album sales but seeing my fave doing good isn't anything I'd not like to see + I love performances and interviews

It was really awesome he defended the adoption and yes, now they seem really cool with each other
Jimmy is awesome, I love him and they have great chemistry together, JT is a big friend of his too. I want Jimmy, David and Ellen, those are musts. Does Oprah still have a talk show on her OWN? She should go there too
God, this is still good. I can see why Madge wanted to work with him.
It's a pity TUTR didn't turn out as well.

I forgot about Ellen.
I think Oprah only does those long sit-down things, or the documentary-style things where she follows them around (like Rihanna). She doesn't actually have a show.

She might surprise with good sales if she does some amazing promo right before an iTunes-exclusive, but I want her to stick with the traditional method or selling through the tour.
Yeah, that's true too. Maybe if she were to do what Cher did, that would give her time to whip out some promo after the free download promotion were to end.
Whatever the case may be, I know she'll absolutely bring it with the tour.
God, this is still good. I can see why Madge wanted to work with him.

I still love TUTR for some reason, it just makes me happy
The lyrics (sans the chorus) are very ROL-esque

They're awesome together too
She has her "Oprah's Next Chapter", I guess it's not the same like The Winfrey Show but she should visit her
We will get something like the only one meeting with Fallon like during MDNA anyways
