Lol, ATRL doing the most as always. Louis said the n-word with an 'a' on the end. Everyone is well aware of the difference. Am I condoning his use of it? No. Should the word be used? Absolutely not. Is it only okay for black people to use both uses of the n-word? Apparently. If black people want to use a word that was once used to offend them, then fair enough they can go ahead. It's not exactly a smart thing to do, but the world has accepted it in fear of offending this said group in particular.
So, in recent years the n-word (with an 'a') has become a word to use in a way of communicating with someone else, and that goes for all races. This has been widely 'accepted' (in a manner of street slang, but not widely accepted in a way that it's acceptable to use such language). The word is still offense. It will always be offensive. What it shouldn't be is a word in which black people have control over and can pick and choose when the word is offensive and when it is not. The n-word has been widely accepted by the black community and views vary on the use of it by white people. Wrong on many levels but whatever.
The n-word is disgusting, ill-mannered, offensive and rude. No one should use it. I don't care if you're black, white, orange or turquoise. I've had to accept that the black community, especially rappers, can and will use the word as and when they please. I've accepted this, despite not quite understanding why the said community would want to hear such a vile word, let alone use it. I doubt anyone who was involved in the treatment of blacks in the 50s would utter the n-word without shuddering.
Louis Tomlinson is not the problem here. You told him it was okay to use the n-word (ending in 'a'). Deal with it.
