Movies have been pretty meh so far this year. Godzilla was disappointing, Divergent was a poor man's Hunger Games with a poor man's Jennifer Lawrence as the lead. Oculus had promise, but fell apart at the end.

I was one of the mistaken souls that thought Divergent was going to be a HG rip-off until I saw the movie.
I was wrong, thankfully. Divergent was more enjoyable and less predictable than the first HG.
Plus, Theo James was fine as hell.
And JLaw messes up everything she's in, so there's that.
