Her accepting productions first and then making songs around them started with Marry The Night, right? I don't recall her doing that for The Fame or The Fame Monster. |
You're probably right, I'm sure the best Zedd and Madeon productions are on some harddrive somewhere. She probably listens to them daily and bops
It started with Born This Way. I'm pretty sure all of The Fame/The Fame Monster were collaborations between Gaga and the producer in the studio, most of which started at the piano. BTW was when she started having her producers create beats and send them to her before she even had a song idea in place. And I believe most of ARTPOP is the same way, aside from a few (Applause, DWUW, ARTPOP). I mean, it's pretty obvious songs like Donatella, Swine, Fashion!, Aura, etc. are just vocals laid over an already-made beat, synth, or completed instrumental.
