Though John's cover slayed me completely out of the blue, Bey's is still definitely better and is just so beautiful. I love songs that give me a feeling of something and make me see something in my mind as I listen. Like when I hear XO, I imagine a setting of a New Year's Eve party with everyone getting ready to transition into the next year and start counting down, and then as the final chorus begins, everyone kisses each other.
