Yeah, his catalog sales are HORRIBLE. I saw on UK Mix the catalog sales for older albums that smashed and all sold 8K+ and the lowest were around 4K and he sold literally <300 albums from like January - June 2013.

His catalog sales are "terrible" because they don't press copies of his albums anymore. You can't go to Wal-Mart and buy No Fences, for instance. You can't buy his albums on iTunes either.

And his songs are massive country classics played all the time. You probably know a number of them even if you think you don't know him. Even if it's just a southern thing, I've never met anyone who doesn't know Friends in Low Places or any of the other big singles from No Fences.
