5 Seconds of Summer clearly won't have success like One Direction, you can see that they won't be huge. It makes me think that 1D still has good years ahead, because there is clearly no competition. They will do fine, but they'll be ''just there'', better than The Wanted but always in the shadow of others bands.

You can see by the fact that their second single was not well received. People are making huge predicitions but they won't happen, just like they didn't with their debut EP.

B) It's not like Video Games, Born to Die, Off to the Races, Carmen, Blue Jeans, National Anthem, Blue Velvet, Ride, Dark Paradise, or Burning Desire did well here. So I don't see how you can so easily dismiss 5SoS so "clearly" after supposedly 2 singles.

I think it only captures its peak at 11:59PM each night, but it's a good guess for most songs that remain steady throughout the day.
