Acclaimedmusic hasn't even been updated and many sources are missing. If Britney Jean is counted into that "equation", Britney would drop many spots. That system is as flawed as any system you use.

It doesn't really have a negative system, you just get higher spots for mentions basically. It's not foolproof but it really is fairly accurate.

Whether you want to accept it or not, for the last 10 or so years Pitchfork has been much more influential in "opinion shaping" than Rolling Stone has.
