Racist or not, I just don't get the point of Iggy faking an accent.

There are English rappers who rap with their English accents, so I don't get people acting like it's impossible to not rap without an "blaccent."

And people say it's because she lived a few years in the south and because the people around her rapped that way, yet Eminem also came up in an almost completely black community with black rappers all around him and he didn't feel the need to sound like anything other than a white guy in his material.

Authenticity is a big deal in the urban community. If you're rapping about being a thug and grew up in the suburbs, you're gonna be called out. Iggy is an Australian white chick trying to sound like a black southern rapper, and she's gonna get **** for it forever.
