I don't understand why people don't use logic when it comes to weekends. Contrary to ATRL beliefs, most kids aren't out partying every weekend jamming to new music at parties. Certain songs always get boosts on weekdays because those are school and work days when people actually have the ability to tell other people what they're listening to and show them videos etc.
Fancy is a song where people go "OMG look at this new video and song by a white girl named Iggy Azalea and she's rapping. The song is catchy."
Problem is a song where people don't need to talk about it because Ariana is already decently known in the younger generation and the song sounds like 100 different past hits (no shade I love the song myself).
Fancy will obviously need more help through word of mouth so weekends hurt it because kids and young adults aren't at work and at school to talk about it.
Once school starts again Fancy will rise again. Idk how long it will take for it to go back #1 but it definitely will.
