Maybe you feel uncomfortable when recording your voice and change the way you talk without realizing it? I barely recognized myself when I heard my voice on tape I sound so much more raspy then I think I normally do.

My voice is v cringeworthy on recordings and on the phone.
I used to have a job where I spoke on a mic all the time and people would compliment me for my voice though. My voice changes so arbitrarily in different situations and I have no idea how to change it.
