I worry that the next album won't fare so well critically. None of the pop girls who released in 13-14 (Brit, Katy, Gaga, Shakira) fared very well whereas the "less mainstream" Lorde and Beyoncé did well. Unfortunately, I see Taylor going the way of Prism rather than Pure Heroine.

i am tempted to disagrih on this one on the basic that especially coz gaga, katy, miley etc got planned by the critics, taylor could get the "this is how to do 2014 pop music the right way" comments, much in the same vain as her tour reviews. i foresee quite a few "as taylor makes a complete transition from country to pop, we see her dominating the pop world as effectively as she did the country world that she leaves in her wake"
