I honestly think it's devastating how many missed and wasted opportunities Gaga missed with this era. Like, imagine if she was Candy Warhol the entire era, and played out some year-long ARTPOP performance in public and performances and capped it off with the tour. I just can't believe how little creativity and direction this era had, yet how much potential it served

the moment they made a promo single an official single because it did decent on the charts it went downhill , Venus was snubbed alongside the music video , then the R kelly mess resulted in no music video for DWUW and so on .... but it's best to just let all of that go and hope she does better in the future

Wait they're also saying RedOne is confirmed for the next album and might even be leading it Apparently they've been talking again and are trading beats and ideas back and forth. They're looking to schedule some studio time in August.

It also appears that DJWS is done.

This era was a performance to display the decay of the blonde icon, which will be the concept of her next album. She had to experience it first to write about it.

I 100% think that DWUW should have been a single, but they shouldn't have rushed it right away like they did Honestly they should have carried out the plan with Venus for the sake of keeping things clean and rehearsed, then released DWUW. Katy didn't rush release Dark Horse when it did well as a promo single, she gave Uncle its chance and then moved on to it
