I try to use scare tactics to get my mom to quit smoking (she said she'd stop when my sister was a kid and my sister is about to be 25 next month ) but it never works.

Where did teeth and fruit come from?

Well in the book he hears voices saying "Eat the pie Jupiter!" that basically push him to commit the murders. I liked "Strange Fruit" because that references Billie Holiday's song that captures the books essence perfectly. And "Strange Teeth" wold work too because he has a strange hunger for murder/it reflects on him as a character he doesnt fit the norm at all and is known for saying strange things.
