She refused to apologize at the Grammys, which were aired on CBS, which also aired the Super Bowl, so they disinvited her. That really didn't have anything to do with the rest of the media. Even people not connected to CBS/Viacom were mad at her because the FCC became more strict with their oversight. Howard Stern, for example, ranted against her and it's the main reason he left terrestrial radio and went to satellite.

I don't believe that the malfunction was accidental and I never have. She did it to shock people and be bold then refused to apologize and take ownership to the network that even aired the program she was performing on to begin with.

She lost her career because she chose the wrong moment to be bold and unapologetic that is Tasteless in my eyes.
