Pyro is a bad guy and can only control fire, not create it. Pyro can't fly too I think
So its more like sunspot vs bobby than bobby vs pyro then =o
And the way Pyro control fire from that smoking thing reminds me of gambit idk why o.o
Speaking of gambit i cant imagine if they cast channing tatum for it o.o gambit face look skinny/sharp on comic but channing has round feature & almost bald lol
rogue has had less storyline since x-men 3 ...when they introduced shadowcat , that b**ch stole rogue storyline and screentime...and it's sad because rogue has powers and storylines from the comics(or in the movies) far more important or interesting!they should make her appear on the new wolverine considering her relationship with logan in x-men saga (she has been considered for the last wolverine movie but it didn't work out) and give her powers and storyline she deserve , maybe with gambit...
If they do a bigger Rogue part, it is kind of limiting since her power is very on the big screen. Like someone said earlier, imagine Rogue just standing there molesting one sentinel

LOL what?! Channing isn't bald. I think it's a weird casting choice too but we'll see soon I guess. I get the impression Fox like them going with established actors to ensure a good return, like they lucked out majorly with JLaw becoming the biggest star after she signed on for three movies, guess they're going after an older female demo (and gay male demo ) with Channing.

I'm pretty sure Sunspot have superhuman strenght too. And his powers are only possible because he absorbs solar energy, so during night time he would eventually become too weak to fight.
“X-Men: Days of Future Past” steamrolled the competition on its way to an estimated $90.7 million three-day Memorial Day weekend haul in North America, and added a huge $171 million from overseas for a whopping $261 million first weekend globally.
Fox's Marvel Comics-based mutant mashup still has Monday to go, and should wind up with around $107 million domestically over the long holiday weekend. Last week's No. 1 movie, “Godzilla,” was running a distant second with an estimated $30.5 million. And the weekend's only other wide opener, the Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore comedy “Blended,” failed to ignite and was battling “Neighbors” for third place with around $14 million for the three days.
Produced for $200 million, “Days of Future Past” rolled out in 100 foreign countries this weekend, including China, the U.K., Russia and Mexico.
It's the fifth time in the last eight weeks that a Marvel Comics-based movie has topped the U.S. box office, coming on the heels of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” which had a three-week run at No. 1 in April, and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which kicked off summer on top earlier this month. Neither the Marvel superheroes nor “Godzilla” have been able to crack the $100 million mark with their openings however, though all have topped $90 million.
The domestic opening for “Days of Future Past” is the second-best in the 14-year-old franchise's history, behind only “X-Men: The Last Stand,” which brought in $102 million over three days on Memorial Day weekend in 2006, and $122.8 million over the four days.
Fox marketers made the most of the time-travel plot of “Days of Future Past,” highlighting the combined casts of the original “X-Men” trilogy with the 2011 reboot “X-Men: First Class.” Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Lawrence top an ensemble that includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Peter Dinklage. Simon Kinberg, Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn are the writers.
The critics were sold (91 percent positive on Rotten Tomatoes) and audiences have been too, awarding it an “A” CinemaScore. Director Bryan Singer largely skipped the promotional push on the film, and concerns that his legal problems would hurt the film commercially evaporated.
Lauren Shuler Donner and Hutch Parker produced “Days of Future Past,” along with Kinberg and Singer, who directed the first two “X-Men” movies.
X-MEN COMES FOR WORLDWIDE GROSSING WEAVES OF THE FRANCHISE
Quote:
Bryan Singer's critically acclaimed X-Men: Days of Future Past is soaring at the Memorial Day weekend box office, where it is on track to earn $110 million through Monday. Internationally, the 20th Century Fox tentpole took in $171.1 million for the weekend, putting its global total at a whopping $261.8 million -- the best debut of any X-Men film.
It made $90.7M domestically without Monday's receipts so it'll top $110M for sure.
I never expected it to top X3 this weekend tbh, but I do expect far less of a drop off next week than X3 had from word-of-mouth alone. X3 had a 2/3 drop the following week, I hope DOFP's is 50% or less...
Not this movie grossing nearly the two-third of it's international forecast in the opening weekend Boxofficemojo predicted 282M in the long run. Word of mouth will guarantee that. Domestic forecast was 234M. Easy game.
$90M is just estimated though, it could be lower or higher than that, not significantly,. I think it'll be higher and will outgross The Amazing Spider-Man 2's 3-day total (91.6M), just an additional 900k is needed.
