Anyways straights have probably been here the entire time, just like they are now. For example, I'm straight. It seems the fact that this is a music/culture forum first, and one of the largest online, is overlooked.
It really depends on the personality. I'm cool with gay people as long as they don't rape me or something. There is one gay person in my grade and he always tries to sit next to me and it's freaking me the hell out (and I generally don't like him because he's annoying and he crapped his pants during a field trip), but if the gay people just act normal, then I'm cool. Any gay person on the internet, I can probably trust unless they're man*****s.
So it really depends for me. So far, I don't really have any gay people that I like in real life, but the people here, sure, I can get along with. Except for the racist alien a.k.a. Froggert.
