Hi all,
The next judgement comes from a fan of the R&B NY hip-hop Mariah persona. I'm not part of the bunch who want her go pop and "current". Being current lacks artistry.
I listened to the album, "simple" came to my mind, yet pleased to hear her melodies. This album ain't no first listen ear candy, however it has it's good moments.I deleted lots of tracks, I really don't like to keep tracks that I don't use. The songs I kept are:
Faded, Dedicated, Thirsty, You Don't Know What To Do, Supernatural, Meteorite, Money, Heavenly, The Art of Letting Go, You're Mine & Beautiful.
I doubt for real this would make any commercial impact, however I do believe if only radio would let it, "Money" would be loved by many, as much as YDWTD but y'all talking to much about it already. Other than these two, and Thristy as an only urban, I cannot see any chance of a single making it.
By the way, I love TAOLG more than ever.
I'm so glad to have my girl back, love her voice, her moledies and her music, this new york only ready music as some of you call it, which I'd rather call identity & artistry.
I'm pleased at least, I'll buy. Could've been better? Of course.
