So you're going to bail out instead of posting Dolly gifs or bragging about money that isn't yours? Wow I'm not sure whether to be impressed or disappointed.
You should find a new point, there are only so many strands left on that wig to pull.
Beyst flopping is kind of bittersweet I guess. If she actually did well then Hive/Navy stanwars would be more than just Forbes receipts and subjective rubbish like 'impact'
You may as well say CGYOMH started it 3 years before until you think of the last big dance hit to come years before that.
Might as well say Impactnet's dancepop mega smash "Together Again" from 1997 was responsible for it. She really is the reason behind everything

It's not about who did dancepop first because dancepop songs have always been around. It's about who made it a trend on US radio and that didn't happen until 2009 when Gaga and the BEP were dominating. That is a fact

Well first of all, BOMT never sold past 25 million, let alone 30 million.
Secondly, COADF came out before Rihanna had a career.
Lastly, Gaga started the dance trend with David Guetta being the hand behind it becoming mainstream again.
But COADF didn't do anything, Rih actually influence people to do it, COADF came years before and no one copied her
And Lad Gags did next to nothing to start the dance trend lol

Why do you dismiss Forbes like that? All these artists release music because of the money. If they don't earn as much as they should... doesn't it mean they're doing it wrong?
The Fame was the biggest dance album in the US since.. Ace Of Base's "The Sign" (1993)?
That album's success is obviously one of the reasons everybody suddenly jumped on the bandwagon. Dancepop did not dominate radio like that before 2009

Adele being the proverbial cow on the tracks to bring that train to a screeching halt.
