Tbh though more than half of the album could have been hits, they are just dated and don't fit the current music climate (other than Fashion!). DWUW was rather ahead of it's time as that seems to be where pop music is heading atm and unfortunately never got to relish in the change.

Well I didn't mean "girl no" in that it wasn't true, but when you say something like that only to then say "I don't make music for the charts" (which to be honest, she doesn't. She's been making music since she was a little girl) it tends to make people feel like you're backtracking and looking for an excuse for your "flop" album. The album DOES sound like hits, but it almost sounds like an album filled with a collection of hits and no theme (which is basically what it is). I did find it kind of dumb though that DWUW is like everything that a hit is, and it didn't even reach the top 10 on the hot 100, BUT there are other things to worry about so I'll be fine.

Communication seems to be her biggest issue (the ultimate irony since she made a website dedicated to talking with her fans). Twitter has done a decent amount of damage to the good sis. Her love for her music can easily be translated by haters as arrogance, which is a shame, but she does need to stop with tweets like "the greatest album of the universe."

I agree that the album is missing a coherent theme, tho I do think it is interesting how the first four songs and the second to last two songs are all songs influenced by love.

we all know she has it in her , she's not one of your typical manufactured pop diva that will subside once her spark is over ,she's got acclaim , awards , records broken , major sales figures in a short time span , and mostly TALENT to fall back onto , I just wish that somehow she'll figure out that she needs to conform a little bit and craft something Radio / GP friendly without giving up on her visions

Yeah, I think the SXSW interview showed just how much in love with music she was. She loves it so much that she cries about it, it's just that meaningful to her. It's just the business aspect of it that probably ****s her over. The fact that the business aspect is what is more important rather than the music is what kills her. And honestly, I think Gaga isn't the only one who feels that way, it's just that people would rather not talk about it because they fear getting their paycheque's cutttttt!


@Devious I feel that Michael is the better performer and is more creative in that aspect. Where as Gaga is more creative in the musical aspect of her songs. They're both geniuses in their own right.

both are different set of incredible minds, they shine in their own unique way and one can not compare the two , Gaga is still in the making , while MJ (even though I don't like his music that much) has been an incredible musician who made history and impacted the music industry and peoples life , one can only hope Gaga can keep her head straight and keep going down the same old road she was on and eventually she'll be recognized for it too

Ugh I bought my physical album from Walmart, and like they edited SO much. And for really no good reason at all. Sexxx Dreams sounds awful, Jewels and Drugs is even more awful than it already is, and the unnecessary edit in Aura the word "killed" bugs me. The fact that there's more than this though.
