She's been making music since she was a little girl) it tends to make people feel like you're backtracking and looking for an excuse for your "flop" album. The album DOES sound like hits, but it almost sounds like an album filled with a collection of hits and no theme (which is basically what it is). I did find it kind of dumb though that DWUW is like everything that a hit is, and it didn't even reach the top 10 on the hot 100, BUT there are other things to worry about so I'll be fine.

Oh, I know, I was just cutting our girl some slack.
Communication seems to be her biggest issue (the ultimate irony since she made a website dedicated to talking with her fans). Twitter has done a decent amount of damage to the good sis. Her love for her music can easily be translated by haters as arrogance, which is a shame, but she does need to stop with tweets like "the greatest album of the universe."
I agree that the album is missing a coherent theme, tho I do think it is interesting how the first four songs and the second to last two songs are all songs influenced by love.
