I read that essay but I think Gaga is failing because she fired her old team (the professional directors, choreographer, stage director, makeup artists, the handlers who tell her how to act, RedOne and whoever else kept her vocals and lyrics in check, her old artwork designers, Dada, Nicola, etc). Even tho Swinefest slayed and the Applause video was good, the decline in standards and quality really shows in every aspect of the era



You can't abandon every aspect that made you appealing and successful in the first place overnight and expect the same success She can do whatever she wants tho
