Because people who hate Nicki are always trying to dismiss her as a pop artist wrapped in a pretty hip-hop bow, and that's not the case. If Drake released this song, or if Eminem released this song with a female singing the hook, no one would be calling it a pop song. That's my point. But because it's Nicki, it's easy to throw out the rapping and just look at the hook.
