It's pretty unspectacular, isn't it? I mean, I can't find anything inherently wrong with it, but it sort of just plods along with no climax and with nothing keeping you interested throughout the whole thing.
It doesn't sound like "old Nicki" like so many love and it doesn't sound like anything fresh or new. I knew Dr. Luke wouldn't deliver.
Wow nice song. This can do well on urban radio imo.
The "late" iTunes release isn't a big deal at all. In my country some songs aren't released until many months after their radio premiere and still manage to be massive hits, so a few hours is nothing.
Think about it this way. Super Bass sold, what, a few ten thousand in it's first few hours? Then millions later on. The first few hours are pretty irrelevent in the big scheme of things.
If there's anybody's single I'm worried about, it's Lil Wayne's. He premiered his single ages ago, and it's top 50 on two radio formats, yet it's still not on iTunes.
Yeah I can't believe Believe Me still isn't on iTunes. I think they've lost a good amount of sales.
Pills N Potions will smash really hard. I have a feeling it'll be on iTunes on 9 AM.
I absolutely LOVE Nicki. Like to death... But I'm not feeling this at all. Maybe it's a grower and I'll end up liking it, but I just don't see this doing well or selling an album.
Damn, I really like this. It's not what I was expecting at all, but it's something different from Nicki and that's exactly what I wanted. It's breezy, fun, and light.
I'm not sure how well it will perform, but she delivered for me.
