Universal has control over her, Nicki would never have collaborated with Dr. Luke if it was 100% her choice. I think we all know this.
your a mess. Nicki does not let anyone control her her label has nothing to do with her music career choices. she started to work with luke because she wanted to do more pop on PFRR after superbass success.
But you have to understand that luke is versatile and Nicki said she will NOT go pop on this album, so that right there confirms his production isnt too poppy on PnP

The most important thing to me is the lyrics and the content. If she brings that, I don't care if pop stans wanna bop to it. Nicki has never been pure rap even her mixtapes had a bit of pop influence to them. Just because something is pop doesn't mean her label forced it on her maybe she likes making crossover music? There's certainly evidence to that end. I actually prefer dr. Luke his pop productions to the few hip hop tracks he's done though
Nicki makes music that SHE HERSELF is feeling. She does what she wants. Her record label doesn't force her into it. It's funny because all the barbz know this. Some people just expected 100% hip-hop.
