Perhaps for pop stars who rely on production lyrics don't matter, but lyrics are still apart of the art form of music to other genre artists. There's a reason everyone wants to lie about being a songwriter (we know a lot don't write melodies or even know how to, so not that).

Ugh, as much as I want to drag, she'll be fine. She has enough money, and she shouldn't care all that much at this point (despite her incessant quest for another #1 single).

I don't disagree with their judgement.

'Breathe' and 'Moment of Surrender' alone are worth 6/10.
'Get On Your Boots' is such a stinker though. U2 their 'Give Me All Your Luvin''. The only good part is when the riff comes back after the ''Let me in the sound'' bit.
Ghost Stories is from its arse to its f***ing elbow, one, long stagnant f***ing pool of premium grade f***ing cockwash! I would rather chew off my f***ing scrotum than ever listen again to this boneless f***ing melange of morose f***ing piss-****! I would rather eat an entire f***ing yurt, washed down with f***ing beige paint recently shat out of an incontinent yak’s anus!

Anyway, Martin got married to f***ing Gwyneth Paltrow, that ghastly, gulping, giraffe-necked, sick-making long drink of carb-averse goop, they created their own f***ing hole in the f***ing ozone layer flying around the world with Martin warbling about how concerned they were about the f***ing environment, spawned a couple of sprogs and saddled them with life-ruining names
I don't understand how this is an official review but I LAUGHED from beginning to end.
I need P4K to review a Taylor album, pretty sure she'd either get a positive or mixed review. Taylor's albums are usually acclaimed by reputable publications + P4K has praised her several times before + ranked her at #19 on their best albums of 2012 list, but they still haven't reviewed an album of hers.

P4K worships The Lord. They've compared her to Kanye a million times. Also, see Pure Heroine's review:
Quote:
She gets so caught up in the feeling that she lets herself blurt something truly vulnerable: "I've never felt more alone/ It feels so scary, getting old." Lorde’s music is quietly wise to a particular modern irony: Beneath every #DGAF there’s a person who secretly gives a **** about something, and behind every anti-pop song there’s a singer who—just like everybody else—knows what it’s like to feel happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time.
And Coldplay has become middle-of-the-road over the years. Who was expecting P4K to take them seriously? They're in the pile with Nickelback, Creed, Staind and Linkin Park, but with slightly more credibility.
