I personally don't get the point of not listening to a stream. It is artist/label sanctioned and you hear the full album from front to back. By not listening, all you're doing is adding a week to your life where you DON'T get to enjoy the album.

Personally, every Mariah album that I own, I waited until I had the physical so I can listen to the album while I look through the lyrics and pictures in the album booklet. It truly adds to the experience of getting to hear an album for the first time.

iTunes radio has settings to switch to the explicit stream

I can understand that. I feel like album sleeves lately aren't that great, so I wouldn't wait, but if you want to keep up the tradition, that's cool.
