I'm not sure if this is serious but that's not really a decline at all if you consider the general decline in sales over the last few years.

I was also not sure if she would be able to sell a pop album to her country fan base but she managed to so all things considered she did amazingly well.

Aside from Becky G, it's primarily because it produced pop hits. Pop hits are smashes of their time, but don't last long. So you can't expect RED to have longevity with its massive hits but are past their time.

It's clear that she's fading. She alienated the extra 400K people that bought Speak Now with her pop antics during Red and now they're not here for her. She ruined her image, and now she can only pull 4 million in the US with 2 smash singles and sell 1.2 million copies on the first week. She's over.

Speak Now was released 2 years earlier than Red and it even benefited from Red's release. Red got certified 4x platinum (with actual sales of 3.2million) 3 months after its release with IKYWT as the running single. So much for alienating anyone with the so called "Pop Antics" This whole post is invalid.
