The lack of longevity It'll break the trend of her albums charting in the HOT 200 for over 100 weeks. How long did it stay in the chart?
It'll get there.
Once LP5 flops and she returns to her more country leaning but still popish style in speak now and she serves her 21 it'll cross 100 weeks a la 19.
No, that's one big myth. NOBODY (literally) bought Taylor Swift albums because she was country/because they like country music. People buy Taylor Swift albums because they like Taylor Swift music which has been a blend of a lot genres since Day 1. She has her own niche in the market, a niche that was never genre-based (at least since Fearless).
Can you explain the decrease in sales than? Speak Now with no massive hits vs Red with 2 massive hits? I still believe she had a big enough country following to make a difference with her album sales and those are seen with the decrease in sales and less longevity.

Well, I'm not surprised you wanted it to be released. After all, you've been exposed as a secret member of the Hive who aims for the destruction of Taylor's career and reputation as an artist.
Me too. I expected it to atleast get up to 100 weeks but I guess right now she is more in line with the other popstars like P!nk when it comes to weeks on the chart
Don't do her like that.
She has albums with over 200 weeks
I'm actually really fussy tbh, I skip channels as soon as I hear a ad.
But I like mix and fly fm as well as capital (don't play her much tho)
Traxx fm is also quite good tbh
Which are your favs?

The market declined a lot since Speak Now. The best-selling album last year sold 2.3 million copies. Only. Yes, the pop songs may have put off some people, but I don't think the effect is as great as you think. The solution for that decline would be: 1- Not go back to country, a la Faith Hill, cause that would seem like surrender and would be met with great resistance frOm the country community, 2- Keep on doing pop songs, but make sure they're better this time around, not 12-year-old Kidz Bop songs a la WANEGBT.
