Q. This lawsuit reminds me of the Hangeng situation
A: The court was on Hangeng's side due to "extremely long contract period". At the time, Hangeng's contract was for 13 years (2005-2018). According to "Pop Culture Artist Standard Contract Form", actors may not have a contract over 7 years, for singers it is 7 + @ years (due to international promotions) but after 7 years, singers can call the contract off whenever they want.
Q. Can we expect same type of outcome for Kris as well?
A: Not really. Kris and Hangeng's situation are different. At the time Hangeng signed to SM, there wasn't "Standard Contract Form" so unfair clauses could've been included like contract period. Ever since December 2010, all of SM artist's contract has been supervised and been updated to follow the "Standard Contract Form" so it'll be hard to prove SM's illegality with the contract
All this proves is that SM has a history of mistreating their idols. Sooyoung already pointed out that SNSD needed ivs just to conduct interviews.
SM won't stop until one of their idols dies while on the clock.

Edit: I find it hilarous the public is entertained by the holographic MJ when SNSD, BIGBANG, and 2NE1 all already have done full 30 minute holographic performances already to that quality.
