side note, and i don't know if this has been brought up before, but for all those who have strong opinions of LP5 being very pop / alt-rock, i think the obvious elephant in room would be that taylor hired tree paine, a notable force in country music, as her publicist. if you're going to completely cross over with a new album, would it really be wise to hire someone who primarily only has experience in country music to manage your image? i think it might be a surprise to everyone if taylor claims back the country market with a vengeance. and i think t-paine is the one who will propel her into making the right marketing choices
