No, I wasn't 'talking to you'. If that were the case then I would have tagged you.
Any gay man who beats himself up or attempts to change his demeanour as a result of social conditioning and enforced gender roles IS self-loathing. Nobody can tell me differently. Remember that most internalised homophobia stems from misogyny.
In the same way that if a woman wants her nose to be smaller or her **** to be bigger, and then attempts to change herself to fit the mould, she's automatically self-loathing and insecure.
It's as simple and as superficial a concept as that.
