I am so biased when it comes to this song because of its melody and those few great lines. I whole heartedly agree that the chorus is a watered down mess.
& How can a song have "you had it figured out since you were in school, everybody loves pretty everybody loves cool" in one verse and "now it's big black cars and riviera views, and your lover in the foyer doesn't even know you" in the next
Could've been one of her masterpieces
I still see it as one though
