It's different for every college. They usually don't look at 12th grade much because you'll be accepted in the midst of it. The most important year is 11th grade, but they do look at all four years. Most schools don't decide solely on your grades though. There is an emphasis on well-roundedness, including being involved in extracurricular activites, sports, volunteer work, etc. They also look to see how much you challenge yourself, such as how many AP classes you decided to take.

Oh I see. Well her average literally throughout her 4 years of high school have been over 98+. I'm not even lying. She takes all AP (3 sciences, 3 maths, and English) & also does acting and ballet dancing outside of school, so maybe that's why she got in. Here in Canada, they look at your 12th grade marks. But if you apply for early acceptance, then they look at your 11th grade marks.
