this is not hard but i think you may be getting confused by the extra symbols so
you should probably just substitute them for something else to make it easier.
i will substitute the angles for basic variables, q and p, it becomes,
q = m∠3
p = m∠7
q = 3x
p = 4x-24
we now that q+p = 180
so 3x + 4x - 24 = 180
7x - 24 = 180
7x = 204
x = (204/7)
You don't have to work with decimals.
m∠3=3(204/7)° and m∠7=(4(204/7)-24)°
m∠3 = 612/7
m∠7 = (816/7)-(24/1)
(816/7)-(168/7)
648/7
(612/7) + (647/7) ≈ 180
