It's a very cathartic song to listen to when you are going through immense pain and agony. The grit in her voice is really tangible when you feel the exact same thing.

Oh well that's true. Maybe because I haven't been through a situation like that since that song has been released. But I can relate of what you say because some other songs with weird vocals only hit you in those moments.
