Anything less than 50k first week would be TERRIBLE! I am still remaining hopeful that he at LEAST does 50k.

They will release other singles, you act like it's only about Raging Fire lol

but when? Interscope has to decide if they are going to send the song to Pop or just let it die so they can announce the second single.

They should send it to Pop, it will help the song go gold and beyong imo
I think the pre-order sales were 6K something, i would like the album to climb a little before may 19th

I think some people in Asia or Europe may get it earlier, right? Release dates are not all the same. I think also that the album might leak, but I am not going to listen to the leaked album. I am so against that, I can wait.
Has Phillip mentioned anything about what his favorite tracks are from the album?
I am very interested in listening to the Phillip only written tracks. Also can't wait to hear the song (My Boy) he wrote with Fink (one of my favorite artists)

He said he likes Lead On and Thicket but everything else too, so i think those two are his favorites.
I remember when he did an interview with Yahoo describing each song, that was so cool, i hope he does one this time but i don't hold my breath, this release is handled so badly that i'm expecting the least each time lol.
I think there're some countries which will get the album may 16th lol but don't know which

Yeah from start to finish is better imo but after that i play the songs i like the most
I'm not looking forward to Billboard and Rolling Stone's reviews they're so biased it hurts Billboard is more tolerant than RS though, they suck

TWFTSOTM is a great album and people already know it while BTL is still a mistery but it'll get there imo
I would hate to see him do 25-30K like Y.R predicted, the contrast with Coldplay's sales would be ugh

25-30k? Kris Allen sold around 20k for his second album and he didn't have a first successful era like Philip. I've been reading some really old threads on mjsbigblog to compare Phillip's preorder to other Idols. Adam Lambert's album was in like the mid 400s at this point and he still debuted with 78k. I'm going to stop predicting and just wait for the HDD predictions next Wednesday.
He can debut with 40k, 50k, 70k, 80k, or even 100k. We just cannot do well rounded predictions because you know when someone is an American Idol winner, many people buy the album because of the hype but then lose interest on the artist.

Billboard is more lenient. Phillip still has to carry the Mumford and Sons comparison and American Idol stigma on his shoulders even though he had a pretty successful first era. So the fact that he is American Idol winner, many people can't look past that (so people will make sure to NOT give Phillip a chance even if he produces good music). Many people also think all his songs sound the same (when they have only listened to his singles and not the whole album).

Thanks for the word, it's new to me
Yeah i hate that they can't look past the AI winner, he's a great artist, musician and his album is really great with meaningful lyrics yet they act like yeah f... him ugh
I don't care for what they say as long as i think it's great lol

Not next wednesday, it's the other one, hoping for good numbers
He has two performances GMA and LWK&M that week, so it should help sales
His album is still selling and charting in the BB200 current album, almost 2 years after his wins, that's not lose interest right ? who's buying it ?
