Cole numbers for her album, she's not even getting Pusha T numbers. I mean ffs, Future outsold her without any legitimate hits.
Iggy has a pop following and her albums to singles ratio proves it

Fancy didn't even have time to affect the album's sales considering people are literally just finding out about her in the US at a large scale. I assume SOME more people got it because they were curious after that song but did Carly Rae Jepsen getting a HUGE pop hit help her album sales? Or any other new artist who suddenly gets ONE big pop/crossover hit unless they're already building their fanbases in other ways (which is the case of people catering to the ~urban demographic cuz they have lots of features, co-signs, etc)? Not really.
& I can't @ the J.Cole/Pusha T/Future comparisons. Those artists have been building a fanbase in that demographic for YEARS with known features/show appearances/co-signs and blah blah blah all in the US. Future, per example even released a song with Miley Cyrus

Yes it flopped but he released like FIVE singles from his album already, and all of them charted on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs and had decent airplay in the past year. NOT to mention he had Drake, Kanye, Pharrell, Andre 3000, etc in his album, and Iggy is already outselling him btw. But it's cute that you're comparing all these established urban acts to someone like Iggy who's career is literally just starting in the US (+ is white/currently releasing rap crossover music to the mainstream etc.)
