I don't why you guys are talking about promo budget considering Rihanna doesn't use much if it.
Rihanna clearly has more control with Roc Nation and they agree with some of her moves more than Def Jam did. Also considering RN isn't a huge label Rihanna probably gets biggers and also she doesn't have to split her cuts with RN/DJ now.
Why do people think this is a bad move for her? I know people are say jayz might be shady. I feel like Rihanna has more invented in Roc Nation then just being an artist. Like she might be getting more into the business side which can benefit her later on. Who knows, she might one day have her own label like Death Jam and Roc Nation. Oh if I was her, I would keep the names and numbers of people she has worked with for a much later date.
