They messed up big time with the video already. She was pregnant for God's sake. They delayed the album, they could've shot another video too.

I think the song is great and catchy enough to have power itself to turn a smash hit. I really hope her record label are able to do everything correct this time.
I find it ironic that, in my opinion, what the video lacked was: dancing! Shakira’s moves are always so intricate and unique, but I honestly didn’t understand what she was doing most of the time, especially with her hands. There’s also the fact that this song has sexual undertones, but they are not played. I don’t want to think that she limited herself or cut some scenes because of Piqué’s conservatism, but it concerns me how toned down and unlike Shakira the video was. Her movements are always contagious and yet on “Dare” she feels contrived and stuck. Also, the color palette is amazing, but the editing is disgraceful and sucks the magic out of the video.
However, I’m a wolf for life and will follow and support her ass even if she serves me mediocrity for an era. I can take it because she’s been excellent before and I want to be considerate to the fact that she’s living a wonderful time in her personal life that seems to be her main focus.

I believe that Live Naction/ Roc Nation/ RCA or whoever calls the shots know that Shakira is not a radio's babe so they feel as if they have to rely on her social media power.
